Pet care experience
Growing up I've always owned pets and have always loved caring for them. About six years ago I got a job at Bay Area Pet Resort (a perfect boarding/daycare and grooming facility) and have been passionate for my job ever since. I have experience with caring for dogs, from puppies to elderly dogs. I can handle nervous, rambunctious, even aggressive dogs with much experience. Also experienced in giving dogs medications and some first aid care if an emergency. I have experience with grooming dogs and caring for them in stressful situations. I recently got a puppy about a year ago and have worked extensively training him. He is now able to be walked off leash, has wonderful recall, and knows a wide range of tricks. He is not with me at college, so I am missing the company of a dog these days. I hope to care for your dogs sometime!

I live right in Midtown, a very walkable and safe environment. I am very close to the dog park on Cass and experienced in introductions between dogs to ensure a safe and calm space. I am very adaptable to different environments if needed and am able to read dog behaviors to make sure they are always comfortable with me and where we are.

Any medications, special needs, or behavioral issues that I should be aware of. I have experience with a full range of breeds and sizes so understanding and being able to handle your dog should not be a problem.
A typical day
I love being able to let the dogs explore and experience all the different sights and smells around us. I am still new to the area so I am looking for that special place to bring a dog on a walk. Interactions with people and other dogs (if possible) are another way to stimulate the dogs.

Availability
I am very flexible with hours with exceptions only on days I have classes! I am a college student at Wayne State and currently am taking in person classes Mon-Thurs so I'm able to walk anytime around classes and the weekend! Mondays and Wednesdays I have class until 11am so I am free anytime after that. Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am not available until 7pm. I am not currently working anywhere else as I'm still getting adjusted to moving down here so school is the only thing I have on my schedule these days.
