Growing up around dogs, I have been taught how to watch for ques dogs give to better understand their needs. I love animals and have two dogs of my own. One of my dogs is a rescue with special needs. My rescue has taught me a lot about caring for an animal with little trust. I have lived with a lab with high energy. I feel like I can keep up with a high energy dog. I am absolutely one of those people that holds conversation with dogs. I don't know how much my dogs understand me but I know when I'm talking to my dogs they know I am paying attention to them and they feel included and loved. I feel like having a relationship with an animal has to be genuine and it grows over time like healthy relationships do.
