Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Tatianna, and I am a 26 year old currently attending UAF working on my biology undergrad. I am excited to pursue vet school when I am done as I have a passion for animals! I have been around and worked with a large range of different animals my entire life, and currently own 2 friendly dogs, 2 cats, & a hedgehog. I work as a vet tech at the After Hours Veterinary Emergency Clinic and North Pole Veterinary Hospital currently, have previous experience working at a kennel, and also volunteer with a couple places here locally in my free time; animals are my whole life! I have been pet sitting regularly for about 7 years now. I have experience with pets who need medications and who have additional needs. If your looking for a trustworthy person and a hard worker then Tatianna is your girl !! She takes wonderful care of my dog , many cats , and tortoises . She is great with giving medications and also giving pets fluids . She keeps the house clean and the pets are happy and healthy when I return home. I am able to leave home and know my pets are loved because of the great work from Tatianna !!!

I treat each animal I work with as my own, and always keep their safety and well-being at the forefront of my mind.

Information Tatianna K. would like to know about your pet
I always like to do a meet and greet with pets first before sitting, that way they don’t have a stranger walking into their house on them, or are being left in a strange environment with new people and animals. This way they are comfortable with me when it comes time for your trip, which is very important! This also gives us a chance to go over their normal routine in person so I can ask any questions I have before you leave. I am open to any and all breeds/species!
A typical day
If you’re okay with me driving the dogs somewhere, I would take them to some of my favorite walking spots. In Fairbanks I love Creamer’s Field. In North Pole I enjoy taking my dogs by Chena lakes; I’m sure your pups will enjoy it too! I also enjoy hiking if you’d like your dog to get a bit more of a workout. Otherwise a nice walk near your house can be just as fun! We will play fetch and tug-a-war to burn off some energy, and of course lots of cuddles! I treat all the dogs I watch as my own.

My schedule varies due to school and work. I am very upfront at booking about what my schedule looks like for the time inquired about, and always communicate openly about any changes if they do arise.
