Dogs have surrounded my life for as long as I can remember! Growing up, we had two family beagles, Chester and Chelsea. Chester, our oldest, lived a long 14 years. We had his as early on as potty training him all the way to his senior years, when he was taking daily medication and on a special diet. Then there was Chelsea, who was three years younger than Chester, who unfortunately got very sick. Despite going through some of the hardest days with her, I never left her side and made sure I did the best I could. Not a day goes by I don’t think about either of them. Throughout the years, I cared for both family and friends pets. Dogs love attention, to snuggle, to play, and as a dog owner myself, I know the guilt behind leaving a dog at home alone. Once you find the right person you trust and know there is someone there for your dog giving it the proper attention and care it needs, it is a HUGE relief. In 2021, we brought home our first dog, Moki. She was only 8 weeks old and the cutest fluff ball. She is a mini Aussie doodle, and is now 2 years old. She is just the biggest bundle of love! There is literally no person she doesn’t like, she wants to be everyone’s friend and gets excited to meet anyone who comes her way. Her favorite activities include playtime, walks, looking at the squirrels through the window, and snuggling up in bed with you. Her least favorite things are bath time, the vacuum, and really any super loud noises, (she will run and hide under the bed). Overall, my experience ranges from puppies to seniors. No matter how old, size, or what breed a dog may be, I simply enjoy hanging out with them and will ensure that proper care is given.
