I am currently a third-year undergraduate student at the University of California, San Diego. While I have a comprehensive marketing and business background, my interest is in animal care. I have experience working in animal shelters, rescue centers, and therapeutic riding facilities. Also, I have raised funds and collected donations for multiple animal shelters to help in their adoption process. These experiences have taught me that not only do animals benefit from such a relationship but so do people. From my past internship at HC Pacific, I have learned collaborative skills and how to transform stress into determination and focus. Being raised with two cats and dogs has taught me the importance of patience and perseverance when working with animals. I understand the energy and commitment that is needed with walking, training, and boarding animals.
