I’ve been volunteering at a no-kill pet shelter for close to a year now. I’ve spent all of my time with the hounds rather than with cats and I’ve grown to love it. It would be a nice breath of fresh air to take care of dogs already in their forever homes. I’ve been known to give great belly rubs. Volunteering at the shelter has also made me comfortable with dogs of all sizes although, I’ve usually worked with dogs that were medium or larger. I’m more available on Monday’s Wednesday’s, Friday’s, and the weekend. Despite that, I can be available later on in the day for Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, usually around 6PM. Bonus: Puppy eyes have become less effective when treats are involved, I don’t give in that easily anymore.
