My boyfriend and I are big animal lovers, each with a lifetime of experience caring for dogs and cats and volunteering with shelters. We live with our two rescue animals (13-year-old dog and 11-year-old cat, both female) in a house with a big yard. We work opposite hours, so one of us is always around, and I work from home most of the week. Our sweet dog, Ginger, is very gentle and loves the company of other animals. We're looking forward to her making some new friends! We would love to adopt a house full of animals, but that's not a feasible option for us right now, so Rover is a great way for us to care for dogs in our community on a short-term basis.
