The current dog we have has been raised by us for almost 4 years, including its puppy years, I have also had a dog in my childhood. I'm on summertime leave, so I'm free for the summer at any time of the day, usually in daylight hours, and early night or late morning hours. We have a yard leash in the backyard, the dog is always supervised while it is outside, in the backyard or not, it will also be supervised mostly during it's active hours in the house.
