Pet care experience
A little about me: In January of 2015, I lost one of my best friends, an Australian Shepherd mix named Sable. I adopted her when she was 6 months old and she passed away at the age of 16. I loved walking her and I miss that interaction with an animal. I decided to leave the corporate world to stay home, freelance and be more available for my son. I miss having a dog, but we are not ready to adopt again. Being around dogs makes me feel happy and energetic, especially on nice days when the weather is sweet. I joined Rover in search of finding a few fur clients to walk and visit during the day in the Northland area of Kansas City, Missouri. I have been searching for a part time job and wanted something I would really enjoy and have fun doing. Being a part of Rover is the perfect fit!
Reviews
Tasha has been taking care of my dog for years, both drop in’s and overnights, and my dog absolutely loves her and her family! She takes great care of her and is always sending updates! Highly highly recommend!
My family and I are so relieved we found Tasha as a dog sitter for Linus. She goes out of her way to treat the dogs in her care as if they were her own. The daily photos she sends are a big help while being away. Her updates indicate how much attention she gives to Linus. It makes leaving our beloved dog not difficult at all. I think my dog views her home as a luxurious vacation for himself. Tasha, thanks to you and your family for giving so much love and attention to Linus while we are away!
Tasha has been great with my dog, Lila! Both with drop in visits and boarding for a few days, she’s always prompt, keeps me updated on everything that occurs and sends pictures. As a self proclaimed crazy dog mom, I’m very particular and Tasha far exceeded expectations and made me feel so comfortable leaving Lila with her and her family. I’d highly recommend Tasha!
Tasha was absolutely wonderful! She was so good with my dogs ! She was always prompt she is an excellent communicator and sent the best pix to us of our dogs while we were away on vacation! An excellent experience and a very relaxing vacation knowing that Tasha was there! Thank you !

I am very respectful of your space and only enter rooms that you have approved me to be in. I can have my current clients talk with you if that would be more comforting.
Information Tasha F. would like to know about your pet
I am open to all breeds and sizes of dogs. I do prefer to walk one dog at a time unless both dogs are well behaved and are used to walking together. I believe it's important for a dog walker to be committed for the long haul. Gaining trust and comfort is essential for both of us! I am also open to helping senior dogs who can't go for walks and just need enough of a visit during the day to use the bathroom. My beloved 16 year old got to where she couldn't hold it for too long while we were at work, so I understand the need for this. I am not currently certified in dog first aid or CPR, but I am open to taking a class if that is important to you.
A typical day
When your dog visits with me we will go for walks near your home and play in the yard. I will also refill their food and water bowls and send daily photos of our visits by text or email. I am active on social media, so if you wish to see photos or videos of your dog's visit on Snapchat, Facebook or Instagram that is also an option.
