Pet care experience
I may be the biggest animal lover you meet - really! I even enjoy snakes and spiders. Though I only have experience taking care of dogs and cats. I have been a dog and cat foster for years now and have volunteered at the animal shelter for years now too. I also have worked in and out of dog daycares for roughly two years now but have been ultimately unhappy with the treatment of the dogs at large scale daycares. I have one very friendly dog of my own with greats manners that loves to play, so let me give your babies some love and I can bring them a friend too! I am willing to work with any special requests or unique situations, feel free to send me a message and we’ll see what we can work out! I’ve never met an animal I didn’t make friends with, and your pet could be my next best friend! I have also dealt with shy and timid dogs before as well as extremely high energy pups so I’m equipped to go at whatever speed suits them best. I am a 23 year old college graduate from Kentucky and am currently working from home which means my schedule can be flexible.

Taryn provided help where she drove our pup to our wedding. She was on time and really made herself available to make the wedding day better with our pup being there. Will definitely use her for dog boarding as well the next time!
Taryn has been watching my dog since he was a puppy for a few years now and we both love her. I adopted my dog from the shelter and had no idea what he would be like but he turned out to be very high energy. She has been really helpful in keeping him busy while I'm gone and even helping with training. He's easier to handle now but he was a nightmare as a puppy and she still kept him from destroying everything he saw. He absolutely adores her cause she is high energy like him and can actually tire him out better than I can.
I was Taryn’s professor in college and sought her out myself to see if she would be willing to watch my two dogs for a week when I was out of town. Since that first time I’ve used her to watch my babies any time I’m not home. They love her and she always checks in, sends pictures, and keeps my dogs active and loved on while I’m away. She recently moved because of graduation and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little heartbroken she wouldn’t be around to babysit anymore cause I couldn’t have really asked for better.
Taryn was a great sitter! She checked in daily as requested and sent cute little videos of her and my dog playing. You can tell off the bat she’s an animal lover and it showed. Would definitely recommend and will be booking her for my next trips

I have a crate in my apartment for my own dog but she rarely uses it as my dog (and any dog I watch) would be allowed on furniture and in the bed. There is an enclosed dog run a minute walk from my apartment and I also have an outdoor set up with a tie out that my dog and I use for fetch.

I have absolutely no breed preferences but if your dog is big and poorly behaved I may not be able to have the best control since I am a very petitie 5’2 woman.
A typical day
I adore going for walks and taking trips to nearby hiking trails, parks, lakes, or dog parks. I am eager to help your dog with any training you would like! Depending on what your dog loves, I’ll be happy to do anything from driving around so they can have their head out the window or just laying on the couch and providing lots of scratches. I also have dog seatbelts and seat covers if at any time you need your dog to be driven somewhere.

As of right now I work from home and my schedule is pretty flexible. I do have to work certain days but I’m able to take breaks when needed and choose my own hours.
