Pet care experience
I currently work as a vet tech, and have previous experience working and volunteering at an animal shelter; but I've loved all kinds of animals all my life. I love taking my furry friends on hikes and swims in the local lakes, and also spending days snuggling and playing. I've always grown up with animals, and although I don't have a dog of my own right now, I have 2 very sweet cats. Not only will we have lots of fun playing, but I can also work on training your pets as well! At the shelter, I worked with multiple different behavior issues, and have worked closely with the behavior team. I also can comfortably administer any meds your pet may need, and can recognize if anything isn't right.

For any pups staying with me, I do ask that they are crate trained. For their safety, and the safety of my kitties, I prefer to keep everyone separate when I can't be around to supervise. I always make it a positive experience, and will always make time for walks and play time. Pups are always on leash in public settings, we can even work on leash manners too! Their safety (and fun) is my top priority!

I ask that my house guests are crate trained, with the cats it's best to be safe! I also would ask if your animal has a history with cats/a high prey drive.
A typical day
I love to go on nice long walks after work around the neighborhood. I also just moved into a house with a yard, so they'll have their own space outside too! On weekends, I love to get away to find a lake to splash around in or a trail to hike.

I currently work full time, but can normally come home for a walk during lunch for my boarding friends. And weekends are for the pups!
