Hello! My husband and I are currently in the military. We have a very relaxed work schedule that allows for a lot of extra hours to be spent caring for doggies. I’ve been watching dogs since I was 10 years old which includes walking, feeding, administering medication, etc. We also have a very friendly Golden! Because of the military environment (last minute deployments), we are always relying on each other to take care of each other’s pets as if they were our own. I enjoy watching pets so much I decided to create a Rover so I’d be able to watch pets all the time not only when a coworker deploys. If it’s any consolation, we get made fun of by our friends for how good we treat our dog… from her diet to the adventures we take her on she’s apart of the family and one of us! We would love your pet to be apart of this amazing little family and treat them as if they were our own! We work from 8am to 1:30pm Monday-Friday and we have weekends off. Our morning are devoted to walks, play time, etc. to make sure dogs are getting proper exercise before we go to work. I also have a lunch break where I am able to come home and feed, play, walk, etc. After we get off work we make sure to do an abundance of activities surrounding your dog to make sure they enjoy their stay and have a mini vacation as well! We have a huge fenced in grassy back yard. I would prefer to watch a crate trained dog unless you’re absolutely sure your dog won’t tear through our furniture. For our dog specifically, we make sure she eats, walks, and plays in the morning before we crate her while away at work. During lunch hours I come home and repeat our morning routine. After work we make sure to do activities that involve her whether that’s going hiking, swimming, eating at a dog friendly restaurant, etc.
