Hi there! I’m Taralei, but you can call me Tara if that’s easier. :) I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule who has experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages. I worked with a large breed dog rescue for 4 years, have assisted in the training of many working dogs (labs, retrievers, weimaraners, shepherds, etc), and currently have a senior collie mix of my own named Layla, who I trained as a therapy dog. I am available most days for walks and drop in visits, and am also open to watching dogs in my home. I have a big, flat, fenced back yard, perfect for playtime! In my past work with a dog rescue and trainers, I have worked with and made great friends with all sorts of dogs, from sleepy senior Pomeranians to energetic 200 pound Great Danes. No matter your dog's needs, I am able to provide it with kindness, compassion, and energy. Unfortunately, due to severe allergies, I cannot board cats! I am more than happy to drop by your house and feed them, though!
