Pet care experience
I've raised cats and dogs since I was 8. I've pet and house-sat for cats and dogs of all sizes and ages. I have experience with basic dog training using positive reinforcement, and administering oral medications, eye drops, creams, shots, and subcutaneous fluids. At home, I have a sweet senior pit bull and two fat cats, so I know how important it is to have a trusted person to care for our fuzzy companions. Sorry, no arachnids, insects, or snakes.
Reviews
Tarah came to our home twice before the actual date she needed to start watching Roxy to make sure she had all important information for her care. I appreciated that Roxy was very at ease with her and felt good while I was away knowing Tarah was taking good care of her.
Thanks so much, Tarah! Bear and Marx will def be seeing you again soon 😊
Tarah was wonderful, she took care of our two senior cats and stayed overnight with them. One of our cats had separation anxiety so needs to have human companionship. Tarah sent us pictures through out our trip and our fur babies looked happy and content.
Tarah did an excellent job in our meet and greet so she arrived at the puppy sitting completely prepared. She did an excellent job with my puppy and I’m looking forward to asking her back several times. This is a good service and she’s one of the best.

Safety, trust & environment
While in your home, your rules go. That includes feeding, breaks, reinforcing good behavior, and using your commands. Sometimes our pets have accidents, and that's okay. I can clean up messes and cat boxes as needed. Please provide detailed written instructions and veterinary information so I can provide the most complete care and you can have peace of mind when you're away. Please note that fees will be assessed for EACH animal in the home. Parents should have each pet registered with Rover in order to be covered by the Rover Guarantee.
Information Tarah F. would like to know about your pet
Please note that I always require an initial meet & greet visit at your home before first time bookings to ensure that your fuzz balls AND you are comfortable with me (and vice versa). All Rover sitters are independent contracts and we have our own way of conducting business. My custom meet & greet two-way interviews ensure we cover all the bases of caring for your pets (and your home). These interviews generally take 30-60 minutes. Some of the topics we’ll cover are: - Ppreferred treats and activities - Household “no go” zones - Feeding and medication schedules - Sensitive spots or other general health - Troublesome behaviors we need to work on - Break schedules - Overnight accommodations (if requested)
A typical day
All animals require regular exercise and mental stimulation. Within your pet's limits, we'll explore your neighborhood, nearby green zones, or your yard (whatever you're comfortable with). We'll also play fetch/chase with toys (indoors when it’s too hot out), work on training reinforcement (if requested), and I'll give lots of pets/belly rubs. When I’m with them, it’s doggy/kitty Disneyland!

I own an online shop, so I make my own hours and can work from anywhere. This gives me maximum flexibility for potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and snuggles.
