Pet care experience
I have had dogs in my life since I was 10, taking care of them mostly on my own (no siblings to help). Major experience: bichons, poodles (toy + standard), yorkies, pits and rotties. Almost all dogs I currently sit for have medical needs so I'm familiar with all of the pill tricks. I believe in providing utmost attention to your pup and love learning every dog's personality! I do live in a pet friendly apartment (up to 40 lbs.) and am very active outdoors (walking and running). I do not feed dogs table scraps and keep to strict diets directed by owner. I do not have a dog currently so all supplies would need to be provided by owner. Message to learn more about me, work schedule, experience, etc!

Tara is an absolute gem! She surpassed expectations when it came to housesitting and being so attentive to our fur babies. I have a very hard time trusting strangers with my dogs, but Tara was so comforting in how professional and caring and attentive she was from the start, so she made it a lot easier for me to trust again. She is so professional and communicative from the moment we connected. I can tell that the dogs have been taken care of well and I didn't have to worry while I was away. Thank you Tara for being such an awesome human!

I don’t typically bring pets to my apartment and keep to their routine at the owners home. All safety and nuances are discussed with owner at meet and greet.

- personality around people (especially children) so I'm aware on what to do on walks - potty training/accident information - food schedule/dietary needs - bad habits: since the pup will be in a new setting, I'm sure he/she will be a tad nervous which is usually when the chewing, barking, etc. starts coming out. If I know these things ahead of time it will help me make he/she more comfortable! - usual activity schedule
A typical day
I fit into their schedule and norm. Making sure they don’t feel too jostled by someone else taking care of them. I love walking so I typically will do multiple walks a day.
