My family and k have two very large mastiffs. For years I skipped family vacations because I couldn't leave my dogs. I didn't have the heart to board them in kennels and I was so extremely nervous to leave them with anyone. My dogs are very large and intimidating. We do not have a fenced in backyard and I knew whoever watched my dogs would have to walk them for them to do their business. My dogs are OK on a leash but when another dog walks by they pull and they are STRONG. They can be scared to the walker and the other dog owner. Therefore, I was extremely nervous in having someone dog sit them. We found Tara through a mutual friend. We had her over to meet and walk our dogs. We were so impressed. She was not intimidated by them, she handled them great on a leash. When another dog came by she stayed cool and in control. My dogs pulled but she kept them under control. We have since gone on two vacations and have had Tara watch our dogs both times. She sent us updates and pictures and made our trip so enjoyable because we knew our dogs were in great hands and most importantly were SAFE.
