Pet care experience
I have many years of experience taking care of a wide range of dogs- puppies who need extra supervision and play so they don’t get in trouble to senior dogs who are blind, deaf, and need special meals prepared for them. I love active dogs who want to go on a lot of walks and play never ending fetch to lazy dogs that need never ending belly rubs. I don’t have a dog of my own so I relish the opportunity to love other people’s pups.

Second time having Tara look after our cat Atticus! She is so great with him and he really enjoys her company and cuddles 😍 couldn’t recommend her enough!
Many thanks to Tara on her first visit with my good girl Capri! Although this was the first time I have used Rover and the first time Capri has had a "stranger" come in to take care of her needs, it ended in kisses and trust. Tara communicated with me clearly before, during and after her visit. I couldn't be happier as a first-time client and I'll be using Rover and Tara again in the future!
From the first meeting to the first sitting, my furbaby looked very relaxed and comfortable with Tara, which is a huge compliment to Tara because my pup isn't that comfortable with strangers right off the bat. Tara seemed comfortable with her as well, and I give her credit for that because Padme' has a scary bark and is a huge dog and is intimidating to most people.
Great, Tara was able to accommodate a last minute request and was very professional. She sent lots of pictures and it looked like Maggie had fun. Thanks!

Knowing your pet’s commands in advance is helpful for me. Also, if your dog has any specific cues, that would be good to know as well.
A typical day
Depending on the level of activity the dog likes, I always build in a walk and I’m patient so the pup will have unlimited sniffing time. I’ll even let them stop at every mailbox and pole. If a dog is older and doesn’t love to walk but still likes to venture to a new setting, I’m not opposed to carrying a dog to a park or going for a car ride.

Availability
I am a teacher so I work Monday-Friday so after school hour drop in walks works best for my schedule but have breaks during holidays for any holiday travelers. My weekends are usually free and I’m ready to dedicate them to four legged friends. I also have my summers off and can dedicate more time to dog watching.
