I love cats! My baby passed in 2022 so im hoping to spend time with other kitties now. Tara was great! She cared for our two cats, one of which is very shy and wouldn't eat initially. She adjusted the feeding plan accordingly to ensure he stayed healthy, all while communicating in detail on a daily basis.
Tara was extremely attentive and got on well with our cats. She regularly sent photos and took amazing care for them while we were out of town. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely work with her again. Thanks!!!!!

Care: ~~~~ I am very gentle with cats and will work first to earn their trust. (my cat was not socialized before he was adopted; it took 3 weeks for him to let us pet him, but after he opened up he loved being held.) Once they are comfortable around me, I love to offer them treats and toys, pet & groom them and cuddle with them. I would be sure to learn the personality of your cat and interact with them in a way that they are comfortable. Boarding Environment: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I only host cats from one family at a time. I don’t have any other pets, so your cat/s will have the space all to themselves! Your cat/s will stay on the bottom floor my townhouse, with two big windows facing out the street for them to look out of. I’ll provide a cat tower, nest, some hiding spots, an assortment of toys, drinking fountain, food and water dishes, litter boxes. My partner and I both work from this floor, we really enjoy their company during the day.

Please be sure that your kitty is up to date on all vaccinations and flea medication. You’ll provide their food, treats, favorite toys, and preferred litter. Please let me know ahead of time if your cat has preexisting conditions, or needs any specialized care. I an unable to take cats currently sick with transmissible illnesses. Please also leave your vets contact.
A typical day
I’ll be sure to learn your cats personality and interact with them in a way that makes them feel safe and comfortable. This may be grooming/petting, cuddling, playing with a big variety of toys, giving catnip, or simply giving them space to explore the environment and hide if they are shy.

Services: ~~~~~~~ I’m available to come to your home for visits/house sitting, or to host your cat and board them with me. I currently work part time as a freelance architect, personal chef and cat sitter, so my schedule is quite flexible. For all types of care, I will send a lot of pics, videos and updates, in case you’re missing them and also to help you feel at ease that they are in good hands.
