Pet care experience
I love spending time with dogs and love all dog breeds. I grew up having several labs, golden retrievers and dachshunds, so I've been surrounded by dogs all my life. For 2 years, I spent my spare time volunteering at WOODS on the weekends which has provided me with the opportunity to work with a wide variety of dogs- senior dogs, those with special needs, puppies, etc. Currently I have two golden retrievers.

Tara is a new home stay dogsitter for us, as our other Rover sitter moved out of the area. We will definitely use her again. She is warm and friendly, got right back to us after we contacted her to meet us and our dogs, and made a special effort to win over our younger dog, who is shy with new people. Our older dog is blind and needs mediation twice a day, which Tara took care of nicely. I had to leave our home very early in the morning because of an early flight and drive to the airport, and she showed up on time (4 am!) with a smile on her face and great attitude. She also came home at lunch to check on the dogs, even though it was a long drive from her work to do that. She will take good care of our pets and your home.
Our dog loved Tara right away, and he is usually shy around new people. She is just so nice and we felt very comfortable with her. I definitely recommend her!!!
Tara did a great job watching Riley at my apartment. She kept excellent communication and sent pictures. She took great care of the place as well. I will certainly use her service again, and would highly recommend Tara for all your dog sitting needs!

A typical day
Any activities are fair game. Does your dog like hiking on the trail? Well count me in! Does your dog like just sitting by your feet in the sun? I can handle that as well.

Availability
I work remotely from home, so have a lot of flexibility when it comes to caring for your pet. I’m available for boarding and doggy day care during the weekday (Monday-Friday) at my place. I have two golden retrievers that love to play and relax in the sunny fenced in yard.
