Pet care experience
My name is Tara. I'm 26 years old and recently graduated with a master's degree in environmental studies but am currently home full time. I have always loved animals and have had dogs since I was a kid, in addition to spending my time volunteering as a dog walker and caretaker at the local animal shelter. I currently have a beautiful rescue husky mix who can be either on or off site during client visits depending on client dog friendliness. I have a lot of experience with large breed dogs and dealing with problem behaviors, and a fenced area for potty breaks between walks. I would love to care for your dog, take your dog on a walk, hike, or run, work on training and other mentally stimulating play activities, or just provide companionship and a place for your dog to relax comfortably while you are away.

Tara did an excellent job caring for our aging yellow lab. She really listened to Hope’s care instructions regarding her diet and exercise and sent plenty of photos where Hope just looked to fit right in with all of the permanent residents - human and animal. Hope came home tired, but clean and well cared for. I would not hesitate to revommend Tara.
I've known Tara all her life, and she has always been an animal lover and a very responsible young person. While I have never had pets for her to take care of, I watched her grow up taking care of and training her first dog, Sheena, a very sweet lab mix who was one of my best buddies. Tara spent a lot of time playing with Sheena and even built her own agility course in her parents' yard. When Tara had to board Sheena to go on family vacations in the summer, I would visit her at the boarding kennel. Sheena passed away a few years ago and Tara now has a husky mix who she also takes very good care of.
