Hello! My name is Tara, and I'm a recent graduate from Texas Tech University. I received my BA in Political Science and Psychology. I am currently a first year law student at UNT Dallas. I live in Uptown, walking distance from the Katy Trail. I'm an avid runner so if exercise is an important part of your pet's routine, even better! I don't remember a time in my life not being surrounded by animals. From training my husky agility tricks, to competitive horseback riding in my later years, animals have always played a big role in my life. I have cared for animals such as small dogs (Dachshunds), large dogs (Siberian Huskies), birds, and horses. I routinely petsitted for many families in my neighborhood and developed a routine for each family based on their particular needs and the needs of the pets. I typically visited each household three times daily, providing walks each day. I do have past experience taking care of senior age dogs, both with my own and other families' pets. I own a 2-year-old Siberian Husky/Australian Shepherd mix named Duke. He is fixed, UTD on shots, and has never shown any aggressive behavior towards another animal or human.
