We love dogs! (And all animals of course). We previously hosted dogs in our fun mountain home where there were lots of great trails accessible for fun doggy walks. Now we live in La Quinta right next to a national park with desert and mountain trails galore! We have a safe, fully secured courtyard with a high compound wall w/ small courtyard that is perfect for both large and small dogs. With a lifetime of experience not only living with and loving our own personal dogs, we have also adopted and cared for multiple stray dogs. I also have professional experience advocating for animals on multiple organizational levels. I’ve worked at a huge international animal rights organization, I’ve worked at a wolf sanctuary in Colorado, and also worked at a veterinary clinic for cats in Vermont, as a vet assistant. We have miles of desert and mountain or sidewalk trails within walking distance that the dogs LOVE to venture on. We can't wait to host your dog in our desert home and give them the fun they dream about. This is all weather dependent of course — if your dog doesn’t do well in heat we will always keep this in mind.
