Hi! I’m Tara, a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs and cats through overnight stays and drop-in visits, and I’m comfortable adapting to your pet’s routine and individual needs. If your pet requires special care, medications, or extra attention, I’m happy to discuss this beforehand. My home includes two friendly small dogs, and I live in a quieter area with access to nearby parks and walking trails which is great for exercise. I’m insured, prioritize safety, and provide attentive care with regular updates so you can have peace of mind while away. Whether your pet loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or a calm environment, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member!

We got home to our front door unlocked, both water bowls empty. Our cat has two enormous water bowls. One was dry, and the other had a few centimeters of water in it. I am honestly shocked because the updates and pictures I got made me feel like everything was going great.
This is our 4th time with Tara and it was amazing as always!
Tara did a nice job taking care of my two doggies. She was calm and patient with one of my dogs who tends to be on the anxious side. She was also kind to my other doggie who's getting up in years.
