I firmly believe animals can function better when their parents are away when they are in their own home. Staying in their own space and home is less stressful and keeps them happier. I like keeping animals in a consistent routine, including the animals that enjoy waking up early. I have been around animals (cats, dogs, and horses) my entire life and I enjoy taking care of fur babies that are not my own sometimes. I have a cat and four dogs at my house so I am used to different animal’s behaviors. Every animal has their own personality and it is great to see as many animals as possible. I live in Leesburg and work in Ashburn so I am pretty flexible when it comes to where I can go.

Tara watched my Pekingese, Simba, at my apartment for a week while I was away on vacation. She was fantastic! She came over a few days before to meet him so that he wouldn't think she was a stranger. I received lots pictures and updates throughout the week. The best part was, there was no adjustment period for Simba after I got back. She kept him on his routine and it was like I never left. Tara is reliable, respectful, and will treat your fur-baby as if they were her own. I highly recommend her!
Whenever I have to leave my fur babies at home when I leave there is only one person I would ever trust to take care of my four legged children and it’s Tara! I have 4 dogs of all shapes and sizes and she knows exactly how to handle each dog. Two of my dogs don’t see snout to snout all the time and it can be an issue, and was always very skeptical about leaving them with just any old person. But when I know Tara is watching my dogs I know they are safe and sound and getting belly rubs! Tara is the best dog sitter around and I would recommend her 10/10 times!
