I am extremely passionate about dogs. In addition to our wonderful dog, my husband and I have been active with the dog foster group, Tiny N Tall, since 2018. Through this group, we have fostered dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. We have taken care of puppies that are four weeks old to dogs that are up to 4 years old. We have experience with small breeds such as Chihuahuas and terrier mixes to large breeds like Great Pyrenees and lab mixes. Opening our home to dogs in need and watching them flourish with love and attention is incredibly rewarding. We are blessed to share our home with our dog, Coltrane. He is a 1.5 year old male Great Pyrenees and anatolian shepherd mix that was a “foster fail.” We treat Coltrane like our child and we can’t imagine our lives without him! Coltrane is great with other dogs and are very comfortable sharing his home. Coltrane has a lot of energy and would happily play with any dog that comes to our house! We also have experience taking care of dogs that need medical care. We have fostered a heartworm positive Great Pyrenees and were responsible for his medications. Our dog that passed in April of 2022 was diagnosed with lymphoma in the summer of 2021 and was receiving chemotherapy treatments. We were very used to giving her medication on a strict schedule.
