I have had all sorts of pets throughout my 20 years, and I have been dogsitting since I was around 9 years old. My relatives, neighbors, and family friends have trusted and relied on me to take care of their pets (dogs, cats, small pets, fish, reptiles) all day to an entire week as needed! I’ve also volunteered at local animal rescues, helping cats and dogs in need be fed, walked, and played with! Animals are truly what I enjoy most, taking care of them is my passion & I also plan to pursue an animal science career in college here soon.

Tara my dog walker has been the best thing for my life. She has worked around my weekly schedule and comes to walk my 14 year old dog. I get a text letting me know she's there and a text with his picture of him outside doing his business. This has helped me know his taken care of and a piece of mind that she cares about him. I love the updates after the walk!!!

I am able to walk dogs in my neighborhood, take them to local dog parks and trails! I am more than happy to do drop in visits & stay overnight at your home! I have 2 dogs of my own that unfortunately cannot be around new dogs, therefore I will not be able to bring your dogs into my home. There may be one person accompanying me in an overnight stay for safety reasons.
Information Tara M. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting a dog, I'd like to be aware of an medications that I'll have to administer to your pups. I would love to learn their allergies as far as outdoor & food. I would also want to know what they can physically handle; if they can go on runs, long hikes, things of that nature. I also need to know whether your dog is Dog Aggressive with others (due to off-leash dog parks). I have no breed preferences, I’ve been around lots of different breeds with all different behaviors.
A typical day
We will run our energy out at local dog parks, we will go on hikes together, and explore the area going on walks! I also love teaching dogs new tricks, so that could be a fun activity to enjoy together!

Availability
I am part time and work every weekend, therefore I am mostly available Monday-Thursday. I am available some fridays. On weekends that I work, I usually work in the A.M. or late at night, so I can work out some availability during the day or possibly evening!
