Pet care experience
I have been a cat mom for 14 years to my senior alpha kitty Chiwi. She had a sister from another mister who passed away prematurely, and I miss being a mom to her. They have such different personalities, and I love that. I started to foster dogs to become more familiar with them four years ago. My spouse and I became dog parents to our Goldendoodle Lemon on black Friday of 2021. Lemon is pure joy, and I have to comment on every dog we see going out and about during our days. Dogs and cats are the best pals you could ever ask for, and I enjoy getting to know each of their personalities and quirks!

Tara is the most responsible and caring sitter that I have ever known and she doesn't take that trust for granted. She naturally attends to your pet children's needs because she enjoys it. Leaving my fur baby with Tara is anxiety free because I know they are in her expert care.

I will check in and understand any set routines already in place with your pet(s) and do my best to adhere to them, such as set feeding times, potty breaks, playtime, etc. I will also gather any code words, hand signals, etc., you may have for sitting, stopping what they are doing, "come here," etc. Of course, it's best to know about preferences like where they like to be petted and their favorite toys. I will take notes to ensure your pet can feel comforted as much as possible by their routines and preferences while their primary hoomans are away!

A typical day
I love to take walks if possible and cuddle with the kitties and dogs. Giving approved treats for manding/sitting. Fetch is fun for pets into that! I’m getting to know the area so having the opportunity to walk with a dog outside is pretty special.
