Pet care experience
I LOVE to be around dogs. For several years, my husband and I rented and were not allowed to have pets, so I filled my free time each week with dog sitting, walking, and drop-ins through Rover and friends/family that had dogs. It made my heart so happy to care for others' pups during that time. We now have a dog of our own, Liam, who is a rescue (and we have a 1yr old baby boy too!). We love Liam and spend lots of time with him, but we still greatly enjoy getting to know and caring for other pups too! I grew up with dogs, and I love spending time playing, walking, and going to the dog park. I am an adjunct professor and musician during the school year, so my summer schedule is extremely flexible! Your dog's safety and happiness will be my priority.

Tara did a great job of taking care of all our animals while we were away on vacation. She even helped water the plants. We are thankful to have such a kind person looking after our home and fur babies. we'll definitely use her services again!

When I arrive at a home for a drop in or walk, I make sure to follow all instructions that the owner gives me. I make sure to not leave doors/gates open and always keep the pet's environment safe. I spend adequate time loving on each pet because I know that's what I would want for my own dog! I also always send pictures/updates to the owner.

I do not have any breed preferences, but I would love to know anything you want to tell me about your pup!- Especially what makes them most happy and comfortable when you are away. I'm willing to be as strict or as easy-going as you would like, as far as discipline goes. I know that consistency can go a long way!
A typical day
I love walking in neighborhoods, in a park, or on trails, if mom/dad allow it! Also love going to dog parks. If I'm coming for a drop in, I make sure the dog gets some good outdoor play time and lots of snuggles/attention.

Availability
My son is in childcare on Mondays and Wednesdays, so I have availability for drop ins and walks on Mondays, Wednesdays, and some weekends as well. I have a few other work commitments sprinkled throughout my summer, but I'm typically available from 6am to about 7pm, depending on the day!
