Pet care experience
I've grown up with and had dogs for all my life -- both very large (German Shepherds) and small (Maltipoo). I'm comfortable/experienced with all breeds and dog personalities, and I love them all. I'm attentive to their needs and pay attention to their quirks and signals (ie. bathroom! thirsty!) I'm also very dedicated as a caretaker, and truly passionate about animals -- I only take in dogs when home/flexible on schedule. I don't like leaving animals alone so am resourceful about bringing them along when possible. Lastly, I love to play fetch, tug of war and run with dogs! I'm new to this forum, so happy to provide additional references for dogs I've taken care of outside Rover, which I've done regularly over the past few years. Please note - we recently rescued a very gentle, 5-year-old Great Pyrenees female. She is spayed, fairly lazy and often somewhat disinterested in other dogs. She is about 60 pounds and sleeps most of the day.

Tara is a caring person and a wonderful dog sitter! She made sure my dog Sammie was well cared for and spent lots of quality time with her. My dog even got to join her at brunch outdoors, which she always loves! I received pictures of Sammie having a great time, followed by lots of compliments on what a great pooch Sammie was. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter =)
Tara grew up with dogs of all sizes, and her experience and love of dogs really comes through. I have a german shepherd and a lab and they absolutely love her. Whether she's dog sitting or taking them for a long walk by the ocean, they are always excited when she steps into the house. I wouldn't trust anyone more with my fur babies. Tara is a phenomenal person that I couldn't recommend high enough. She's gone out of her way to puppysit for my wife and I on multiple occasions and has always done a wonderful job. She's reliable, personable and has a clear love for animals.
Tara has puppy sat my English springer spaniel poodle mix on several occasions. He is always a happy and calm little puppy after spending the day with her!! She is profession and I would highly recommend her! She is my puppies favorite walker and sitter. A+!!!

Lots of love, snuggles and attention! We make sure there is lots of water always available, especially in Texas weather. We don't leave dogs outside unattended (also because of the heat) but will step outside with them throughout the day for bathroom and some play time. Please let me know of any dietary or treat restrictions.

A typical day
Can play fetch or run around in our securely fenced dog yard! We will walk around our quiet neighborhood as well, usually when the weather is a bit cooler and the pavement isn't as hot on doggy paws.

Availability
I work from home 100% of the time so dogs are rarely left alone. We have a fenced in large dog run where our own dog uses the bathroom and plays. We also have a separate yard where we occasionally hang out with the dogs as well. We can do walks 2x a day.
