Pet care experience
I may not have my own dog yet, but I love to pretend your dog is mine and love it unconditionally while you're away! I grew up with a Jack Russell Terrier & since college have dog sat for friends regularly. Currently I walk a small dog Mon-Fri for someone that lives in my building, so I am around dogs on a daily basis. My husband and I have a spacious apartment and no kids/roommates or other pets. We live in a dog friendly building, but haven't made the leap to buy our own pet yet because we like to travel and don't want to be tied down as much. As far as my schedule, I own my own fitness studio so I am typically gone for 3 hours in the morning and then 4 hours in the evening, but around throughout the day and spend a lot of time at home working as well. So your doggy won't be lonely!

Tara is a great choice whether you are looking for drop-ins or boarding. She is very responsible and energetic. She is also very flexible with time. Thank you so much for taking care of my puppy and I will definitely choose Tara again if I am looking for some to sit my dog.
I’ve known Tara for almost 5 years. She’s one of the most responsible and organized individuals I’ve ever met. She has watched my dog, Rosie, numerous times and it’s always been a dream. In my opinion, she’s overqualified to watch my pup so, I have no doubt in my mind that she would be able to handle caring for other dogs in the city. If you’re looking for someone who checks all the marks, it would be Tara. Rover would be lucky to have her on the team.
We have known Tara for over a year now, and she is the absolute best with Mochi! We absolutely trust her when we're away and it's easy to see that she loves mo - by the way she takes such good care of her! I never have to worry because Tara is the most reliable, loving, fun, amazing dog sitter we have ever known! I would HIGHLY recommend Tara to watch your baby!

I would like to know the temper of the dog and also if it barks a lot. Living in an apartment building sometimes dogs barking can upset the neighbors.
A typical day
Madison Square Park dog run is the closest dog run and I like it there because they have a side for smaller dogs. I like to walk towards the west side generally with less people and more residential!
