I felt so at ease knowing that my pets were in such good hands with Tara. She met with me in advance to meet the animals and discuss the details and then once more right before our trip. She was very attentive to detail and took the best care of my 2 dogs and 2 cats. She administered ear drops for my dog who had an ear infection and gave me daily updates on the status. She also sent pictures and videos when I missed them. I have already booked Tara again for my next trip! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a loyal sitter.
Tara was absolutely amazing! She was very caring and loving to our little dog and she would always update us on how our dog was doing as well as sending us pictures all the time! We really recommend her to anyone. My dog always looked happy and I am sure Jabet had a great time in company of Tara's dogs and family! Thank you, Tara!
Our dog Rocco spent a week with Tara and we could tell from all the pics and videos she sent that he had a blast with her! She didn’t just board him for a week...she made sure he got his energy out, was able to make new friends, felt loved and got lots and lots of attention. On top of all that her prices are very reasonable. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and will definitely use her again in the Future :)
Tara was wonderful. Our dog was happy and comfortable and that allowed us to enjoy our short vacation. We hope to be able to use Tara’s Dogsitting service again this winter.

There are not any breed preferences but I CANNOT board any large male dogs. I'm happy to walk them or do drop-in visits. My male dog Devlin shows aggression towards them. Sometimes he doesn’t but I would never put him in an uncomfortable position or anyone’s else’s precious pup. Female dogs of any size he's perfectly OK with. He especially loves the little ladies. :)
A typical day
LOTS of walks. I've been to the dog parks in Norwich, Glastonbury, Waterford, Cromwell & Hartford. Trails are my favorite. Bluff Point is amazing! I lived in West Hartford for awhile and there were a lot of trails and dog friendly parks. Norwich is not nearly as dog friendly but we manage. I’m an outdoors person. The winters are particularly hard on me because I love being outside with pups.
