I feel so fortunate to have found Tara!! My giant schnauzer girl Dina is a fearful rescue, with a history of abuse in the first year of her life. The damage done during her formative puppy years is affecting her to this day: boarding, grooming, car rides, and vet visits are always very stressful for Dina. I was looking for a patient and gentle female to take care of Dina during my 5-day holiday trip, and Tara's profile and previous reviews made me think she would be the perfect person to care for my pup in my absence. I am so happy she agreed to pet-sit Dina on a relatively short notice and I'm amazed how well my girl did in Tara's care. Dina's default reaction to new situations is to hide in her crate, but I was happy to learn from frequent messages and photo updates that within a day Dina was eating from Tara's hand, and by day two she would snuggle with Tara on the couch. This was the first time I was able to board my girl guilt-free, knowing that she was getting all the love and attention she's getting at home. Thank you, Tara! You're the best! ?

Tara was absolutely spectacular! She formed a real bond with Miley, and I could tell when we got her back that she had been well-treated and happy. Tara was responsive and really tried her best to make Miley's stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended.
