I have had dogs and cats since I was 3 years old. I have had a wide variety of breeds/mixed breeds to include German Shepherd, Boxer/Pitbull, Rottweiler mix, Beagles, Yorkie/Pekingese, and Basenji/Boxer to name a few. The cats were all stray mixed breeds. My goal is to open a boarding facility that will also serve as a rescue shelter. I do not shy away from any breed and will do my best to make all animals feel safe and comfortable when I am with them. At the risk of sounding cliche, dogs/cats are family to me and I believe most people feel that way as well. I have two dogs and two cats...all four are rescued. Patience is needed many times with rescues due to not knowing the history of the animal. I have managed to help our rescues find safety and comfort along with training and manners.
