Hello, My name is Tara! I am a customer service representative and dancer on the side, and I'm also a huge animal lover! I’ve always grown up surrounded by so many pets which makes me so compassionate towards every fur baby; I have a sense for dogs especially. I had a 13 year old Miniature Schnauzer/Terrier for almost 10 years who has passed on December of 2021. He was my life. Now I vicariously live through the fur babies I get to spend time with and spoil my favourite little frenchie niece! My favourite thing to do is go out and find new and exciting spots to hike on beautiful Vancouver Island. I've pet sat for a lot of family and friends when they’ve gone out of town. I couldn’t imagine my life not being surrounded by furry friends and I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family!

Tara spent 4 days at my home looking after Zoe. Great communication. Followed instructions well and lovely pics of my girl on outings over the days. I knew Tara would be a great fit for Zoe as she was friendly, energetic, yet serious about details, and asked about my pet's needs. Zoe was relaxed upon my arrival home and I knew she was happy. I would not hesitate to use Tara's services again.
Tara fulfilled our list of requests with no problem or miscommunications! Our dog is reactive so it’s important to be able to leave him with someone we trust. He loved his time with Tara and we will definitely be booking again! She was extremely polite and easy to work with and left our house clean and tidy.
We appreciate Tara for taking care of our lively furry companion. Her calm and patient demeanor perfectly suited Nami's needs. Tara was responsive to messages and kept us updated with pictures. Thank you, Tara!

A typical day
Linley Valley off Rock City Road has alot of different beautiful mossy forested trails leading all over Nanaimo. We usually would go there, as it's close and accessible to my place. But, I am also aware of many other forest or ocean walks across the city that we will also get to explore. The options are limitless.
