Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Tara, I am a 25 year old experienced dog walker/carer living in Norwich. I am a long-time rescue dog owner, with experience in caring for therapy dogs. I have owned several dogs including greyhounds, terriers and more, and have been a paid dog-sitter, dog-walker and therapy dog trainer in conjunction with the my universites therapy dog service in the past. I have been a long time carer for a shiba inu, experienced in both daycare and overnight stays, as well as several other dogs I looked after daily, often hosting my own daycare on the weekends. I am looking to start up my own doggy daycare one day, and this is the perfect place to start!

Tara looked after Zelda for a day and was great. Very welcoming and nice, I got back a very happy puppy at the end of the day care. I would 100% recommend Tara's service and will absolutely go back to her for future daycares!
Tara is the absolute definition of a dog person, in the best way: always stopping to pet every pup she meets, in a calm and approachable manner that means the hello is always reciprocated! I’ve spent much time in Tara’s company while she’s been caring for multiple dogs (including a golden lab Lily and her family greyhound Judy) with very different temperaments, and seeing the way she is able to calmly and confidently interact with them and manage any difficult behaviour when out and about is a pleasure to witness. I have never met a dog that didn’t love Tara, or vice versa, and would recommend her wholeheartedly to look after your pet!
Tara is my wonderful partner, and I have witnessed her genuine love and care for all animals, especially dogs! Tara's love for her family rescue Grey Hound, Judy, is testament to this. Judy is timid by nature, and Tara's gentle, patient, and kind approach brings the best out of Judy. Always making a fuss of any dog that walks by and the fuss is always reciprocated, dogs seem to love her just as much as she loves them - a dog magnet it seems! Aside from Tara being my partner, she's truly an amazing care giver and shows genuine compassion for humans and dogs alike. I couldn't think of anyone else I'd rather let look after my loved ones! Your dogs couldn't be in better hands. :-)
