Aloha! My name is Tara and I'd love to take care of your pet for you. I'm a kind and patient person, who loves animals and who understands how much the security of your home and the safety of your pet means to you. I'm sensible and trustworthy, so will ensure that both your pet is safe, happy and cared for and your house is locked securely after we leave. I’m mature aged, and have cared for animals for over 25 years. I love playing with and caring for animals, and grew up with several cats and a dog of my own. I learned how to feed and care for them, to clean up after them, and to comfort or give them attention. My mum has three cats, and I frequently provide care for them too. I know that all animals are different, and have their own needs and concerns, so I am also happy accommodating quirks and routines. This might include following and feeding a special diets, giving medication or following special instructions. If there is more than one animal and one is an alpha or more dominant, I am comfortable making sure the less dominant ones get their fair share of food and water too! I am not in a position to provide sleepovers at my apartment, so caring for your animal in your own home is something I enjoy immensely. I am available for pet minding, pet sitting, walks and general caring, feeding, and also overnight stays in your home. I am fit, energetic and strong, so am comfortable with all dog sizes. I love also runs, hikes and walks (I’m a marathoner & triathlete) and can take your dog on these with me. But, I don't discriminate on size, so I'm also available for cat and small animal cuddles, including Guinea pigs and hamsters! I live in Waikiki but am happy to travel around Honolulu, where possiblei. I am a busy professional who works from home during the day, so am available to give your pet lots of cuddles and attention. I can accomodate early morning, lunchtime and early evening walks, care, and feedings.
