**I was only 5 years old when I got my first puppy and by the grace of God (and my care of course), he'll be celebrating his 16th birthday next June! Along the way, my family adopted two other dogs. In addition to our trio, we are currently housing my sisters two Labradors as well! 5 dogs can be a lot of work, but I guess you could say my love of animals runs in the family. When I still lived at home I had my very own pet sitting business, in which I took care of neighbors dogs, cats, and even horses! My friends always come to me first to pet sit their dogs, and I'd love if you gave me that chance too. **I’ve had this bio up since 2017 and have not wanted to change it in order to honor my first dog Tucker, who passed away in 2018. I haven’t had the heart to change it. Fast forward to 2025, so much has changed but my love for animals remains strong! Throughout the years my Rover pups, family dogs, and now my husband and I’s three cats had been right there with me through it all. I am so grateful and blessed to be able to say I have the best job in the world.

My cats would absolutely murder me if I boarded, so I only offer housesitting. While pet sitting I of course make sure fur baby is well cared for and loved, as well as any odd household chores that need to be taken care of.

Tara was awesome with my Eddie , she really does have a way with dogs. He absolutely loved her but now he misses her when she’s not here haha. She’s very punctual and reliable definitely will contact her again for the future and I definitely recommend her to care for your animals 👏👍🏼

We hadn't booked through Rover before and were nervous about leaving our dog for a weekend trip. Tara was great at communicating and took great care of our pup! We felt much less worried about booking through Rover after meeting her. She even came weekly to walk our dog before our trip, even though we were out of her "range" for dog walking. We would definitely book again! :)

Schedule
If I could work full-time with Rover I would 🥺buuuut I’m currently working 6AM-3:30PM (yikes) Wednesday thru Sunday, during my time off I love hanging out with my Rover pups! They are such a light in my life.
