For the past five years I have owned an event facilitation business.. I tend to work full time and am home every night by 5pm at the earliest and 11pm at the latest. It's because of this consistency that housesitting/pet sitting compliments my life well. I’ve been pet and house sitting for years. While growing up in the Boston area my family had a German Shepherd/Lab mix named Dusty. My sisters and I all loved Dusty enormously and took turns taking care of him. As I grew older, my love of dogs expanded to the dogs in my neighborhood and when I was ten years old my professional dog walking business began. My neighbors would call on me to take their dogs out for walks or take care of them while they went away on vacation. My fledgling business continued straight through to college and expanded to include house sitting. While I don’t own a dog of my own today I’ve managed to get my dog fix when I visit my sisters back east. Those dogs have brought so much joy to my life that I recently decided to re-start my pet and housesitting business for the four legged friends in my area. I hope yours will be one of them!
