Pet care experience
I’ve professionally worked with dogs for the past five years which included dog walking dog sitting at the customers home and also a pet taxi which was place in the dog in the car to go a specific destination. I have a pet first aid certificate, so I know how to do dog CPR. I have a degree level in animal management and behaviour so I learnt about dog behaviours and nutrition. I’ve had dogs all my life I enjoy the outdoors and I enjoy walking dogs, no matter rain, shine or snow. I have access to my own vehicle, so if needed I could take the dog to a secluded field if required, depending upon their behavioural temperament. I have had previous experience with dogs who had aggression towards numerous amount of stimuli, so I am aware of how to restrain them in different types of restraints that could be used on walks.

Tara has looked after our dog in our home on several occasions. Our dog is of a nervous disposition, doesn't always take to strangers and couldn't cope with kennels, she even struggles with family members if it meant staying elsewhere, preferring her own home. Our dog loves Tara and is always happy to be left with her, leaving us free to go away without having to worry about our much loved girl. Tara is always professional, punctual and reliable and gives the little added extras that mean so much like little updates and video's of our dog enjoying herself. Cannot thank Tara enough and would recommend to anyone wanting that extra special care for their pet. Thanks Tara :)

Tara is the best with pets she loves ann animals big or small i have a dog called bubbles and tara may aswell be her mum. From walkin to feeding her to loving her she would prefere the company of pets to humans, shes very responisble and i would trust her with anything !! ❤️

Whilst caring for your fur baby within your home I will follow any guidelines you have to set for me I will aim to walk them two times daily depending on how long the visit will be. On dog walks I will have them on the lead at all times unless we are in a secured fenced field which will just be me and the dog I am walking. I will always ask the customer any questions about the dog if they are friendly if so then I will allow them to meet other dogs. If not I will keep them close to me if you’re doing her another dog on the walks. Photos and text messages will always be sent during and/after the pet visit/walk just as an update to say what went on during the walk and the visit to make sure everything is okay to give the customer peace of mind too.

Let me know if your pets have any allergies as sometimes I do bring my own treats, but if that’s not wanted, and I can more than happily use the treats you are already giving your dog. If your pet is the reactive or doesn’t like certain areas such as in the park or streets, let me know and I’ll know to avoid it just so they are happy and safer rather than risking it. If they pull on the lead or harness, that’s completely fine.
A typical day
I’ll take them on a very long walk with multiple patches of long grass, so they can sniff until their hearts content and will have a run around to just use a little bit more energy. If I am I’m a secure empty field, I’ll be sure to bring my ball launcher so they can chase that around too. If it’s an indoor visit, so if the weather was too hot to take them out for a walk, I’d get snuffle mat and just place treats around the house so they can sniff them out for them to make sure they’re still having enrichment activities, so that they are still exercising and sniffing as if they were actually on a walk outside.

Availability
I currently work part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to see you to your pets during the day with multiple drop-ins if needed. I don’t have any weekly commitments apart from my part-time job, so if regular weekly appointments scheduled, it would be no problem. Weekends aren’t a problem either. I am also fully flexible for them same for bank holidays.
