Pet care experience
I'm a Brooklyn native who loves animals! My dad is a veterinarian and a dog trainer so I've grown up with animals my whole life! I know how to care for and handle dogs of all sizes and ages. I love to get outside and go for a long walk with pets. I have experience administering medicine to dogs and cats and have two cats myself. I hope to get to know your pets soon!

Tara is AMAZING!!! This is our first time leaving Gizmo with someone who we are not familiar. However, Gizmo was very well taken care of. We did a meet and greet with Tara which went smoothly. She was very sweet and attentive. She understood Gizmo's needs as he's a senior dog who can't see and hear. The communication with Tara was great! She sent pictures everyday and we saw Gizmo was very comfortable. We will definitely reach out to Tara again!!
I have known Tara for over 10 years and she is extremely kind, responsible, and communicative. She has a passion for animals and truly loves being around them. Her boundless energy, positive attitude, and considerate nature makes her an ideal dog sitter and dog caregiver. I would highly recommend her for any position!
My dog Sam LOVES Tara! He is always SO excited to see her because he knows that means he's about to go out on an adventure! I love Tara too because she gives me peace of mind -- I feel so much better about working late knowing that Sam is happy and cared for. Sam is a German Shepherd, she's a hefty dog and she doesn't love other dogs, but Tara has good instincts when it comes to walking and I've seen her anticipate what Sam's next move is going to be and subtly diffuse a potentially sticky situation. I definitely appreciate that. I also have two cats, Pumpkin and Oscar, and they love Tara too, they always come to greet her. Whenever I got on vacation I can enjoy it more knowing that my kitties and Sam are well taken care of! It really is invaluable.

I have a fenced in backyard to take dogs out. I have two cats that have lived with dogs in the past and enjoy their presence. I usually separate them from dogs until they get used to them, and if they are feeling relaxed I let them out only while I am around and separate them again if I leave. However, I adjust this according to owners' preferences! Let me know if your pets have any other needs and I'll be sure to meet them!

A typical day
I have a backyard to keep your dogs busy when I'm not walking them. However, I'm also not far from prospect park and love to go on long walks. If you provide me with your pets favorite toys, I will be sure to give them lots of enrichment and play time. I love to send owners lots of pictures of their pets if they want :)

I can provide 3 walks a day, in the morning, afternoon and evening. I work in person, but around the corner so I am always close by if your pet needs anything!
