Pet care experience
I'm Jack, and I'm a lifelong animal lover based out of Kenmore, WA. When I'm not pet sitting or spending time with my own animals, my day job is at a vet hospital (though I'm in administration, I'm not a vet or vet tech), so my life is very centered around animal care. Because I work 10 hour day shifts four days a week, I am currently unable to take on pets that cannot be left alone for this period. I recognize that every pet parent has identified different routines and needs for their pet. As a sitter and animal caretaker I allow the pet parent (that’s you!) to take the lead, and do my best to disrupt routine as little as possible when your pet is in my care.

Jack took care of my two cats while I was away on a trip for 5 days. He did a great job keeping them fed and the house tidy while I was away — I would definitely recommend him to anyone considering.
Our German Shepard Jenny had a great time! She was well taken care of at our house during our 4 day trip.
Great communication before and during the sit. 2 big, rambunctious German Shepherds we’re well care for during Jack’s time at our house.
A last minute sitter cancellation had me stressed, but Jack was able to fill in no problem! My dogs and home were well taken care of and I will definitely book with Jack again!

I do my best to follow the routine that the client has laid out! I don’t board pets. I do strive to provide your pet normalcy. Please note that for overnight stays, I charge extra to stay past noon on the last day of the stay.

Due to my work schedule, I am unfortunately not always able to take on pets that need to be watched all day. I will always be up front about my availability with any inquiry. Please note that I have a non-negotiable 3 day cancellation policy for all overnights.
A typical day
Walks will be near the home or to the animal’s preferred spot— I like going to parks! Activities depend on the temperament of the dog: if they like playing fetch, we’ll play, if they like to be chill and cuddle, that’s great too!

Availability
I have three cats at home, so pet care is part of my routine every day. I do have a day job (I work 10 hour shifts four days a week), so my availability is limited for pets that need attention during the day. I will never take on a job if I don't have the time to meet your pet's needs to the very best of my ability.
