I’ve had all sorts of dogs and cats by my side since I was growing up; from shelters, lost pups that’s we’ve taken in and nurtured, family and neighbors pets that come around or watched by my family and I as they left for vacation. I have a total of 4 dogs and 3 cats mainly because we simply cannot turn them away when we find them and don’t want them to live in fear on the streets or starve. Two of the dogs we brought home from two different shelters and one was given to us by a friend and the other was found as a stray, sick and scared (she’s doing so much better now). One of the cats was also a stray that we brought in and although she’s mean to the dogs she gets along just as any cat would with people (much attitude and playfulness). I’ve always had a love for animals of all kinds. I currently only live with one of the two cats we got from a shelter and none of my pups because of my recent move ( my dad has the other cats and pups). I miss being able to play fetch or teach them new tricks all day long. I also have two little sisters who go absolutely goo-goo-eyed when they see animals. There’s so much “good-boy/girl treats”, play-time, bath-time, and love in our house to give to pets who need a more at home feeling when they’re owners are away!
