Pet care experience
I have had experience with caring for dogs and cats (and even tortoises!) since I was around 9 years old, with full responsibility put on me at 16. I have previously owned 4 dogs (2 reactive) and 8 cats, who have lived under the same house. Caring for complex dogs like Jack Russells and Border Collies, I understand how to deal with reactivity, prey drive, and have extremely strong legs! I am also familiar with puppy/toilet training, senior care and diabetic dogs, as I have cared for dogs both young and old!
Reviews
Tara looked after Wesley at short notice and agreed to a drop in visit to meet him and understand his needs. Wesley is diabetic and Tara was happy to give him his insulin injection. I was nervous about leaving him however Tara sent lots of photos and kept me updated. Thanks again for taking care of him Tara, we will definitely be back in touch soon!

Tay has had much experience with pets , especially cats and dogs after growing up with them. Tay also babysitted my Staffordshire Bull Terrier (smudge) on several occasions with the utmost care. They have walked, fed and comforted my dog lots. I trust them whole heartedly with any animals.
Regularly when I am away on holiday or visiting family outside the city I pay Tara to stay at my house and take care of my two dogs Libby and Millie. When I return they always look so happy and well taken care of. They’re always making sure I am updated in what my pets are doing and how they are. Such a great and loving pet carer.

I have a fenced garden, a friendly 6 month old border collie girl and 3 aloof cats. I can crate your dog if needed (and if crate is provided), but aim to treat them like family whilst they are with me!

Let me know if there are any special needs and/or reactivity I must account for beforehand! I'm happy to take on reactive dogs as I have had two of them myself. As for other needs, I'm used to unusual animals and love to accommodate for them.
A typical day
I usually take dogs out with my own dogs (if dog friendly!) and let them have an hour long run-around in nearby fields. I also like to set up training games and lick mats for dogs, and puzzles/cuddles for cats.

I'm currently doing part-time work 2-5pm Mon-Fri. Outside of these hours I can give as much care as your pet needs, including walking, administering medication etc.
