Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Tara! A little about me: before becoming a teacher, I served in the military for 6 years. I served in Alaska where I met my husband and the rest is history! Once I got out in 2014 I had someone ask me "what would you do if money wasn't an object" and I immediately thought "Work with dogs!" So I persued that route and worked with canines for 6 years. I worked as a dog groomer for 2 years before earning my official certification in dog training. I trained dogs in a professional setting for 4 years after that. I made my final career change in Decemer 2020 to work with children and am now a full time student at USM to do just that; but I still have a strong passion for helping dogs be the best version of themselves! So while your dog spends their time with me, they will also get small enrichment sessions to help them achieve just that. I'm looking forward to hosting your furbaby!

*I require a meet and greet for all furguests. For this reason, I am unable to accommodate same day booking requests* Things I like to know about a dog before hosting them is are the crate trained, are they good with other dogs, are they good with children (I have a young daughter), are they spayed/neutered, and what drives them (i.e. food, toys, ect.)
A typical day
Activities include a variety of things such as nose games, food puzzles, tug, or whatever else your dog may need to help get their mind working!

Pet care fits into my daily routine seamlessly. All furbabies get fed in the morning and let out twice before I leave to drop my daughter off at school. They are alone for a few minutes before I get back and spend the rest of my day hanging out with them while I do my online school work.
