I have rescued dogs all of my life. I don't know that I have any more experience than others but I don't have any less...and I KNOW I have a love for animals. It was almost the downfall of my last marriage...I somehow got on a death row email from the shelter in Greenville and came home with ALL the babies. They took over the bed. I lovingly became known as the Travelers Rest "shelter". I believe whole heartedly that we do not deserve animals...that they are WAY too good for use mere humans. I do not believe in "spanking" dogs but I do believe some dogs respond better to different types of learning...i.e, corrective vs. positive reinforcement. I will never override a pet parents directives no matter what I believe. PLEASE do NOT take my repeat score/minimal reviews as a bad sign (I book a lot outside of Rover). I love my clients and their parents and we become fast frands! Any will GLADLY give a reference we just book repeat off of here to save everyone the service fees once trust is established. UPDATE: I must have proof of current Bordetella vaccination. One of my babies was just diagnosed with diabetes and they think it was a result of a glucose spike and not being able to fight a kennel cough situation ( even though mine are fully vaccinated and I do ask all my clients if theirs are too). I just want to keep everyone's babies safe. I am currently a stay at home dog mom to my 2 senior dog so I am available to love on your babies anytime the need the smooches. I have a fenced in yard and I can easily crate or gate off areas in your home that you want in or out of. I can feed them and work on obedience (I am not a certified trainer) but I have worked with and rehabilitated some mild cases.
