DUE TO A HEALTH ISSUE, I AM NOT AVAILABLE FOR WALKS OR PET SITTING UNTIL EARLY/MID JUNE. THANK YOU! I have been around animals all my life. Grew up in the rural Midwest surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, in addition to the cows, pigs, chickens, and horses at nearby farms. I love animals and have helped care for them all my life. I am comfortable with all kinds and sizes of dogs and love getting them out on walks/hikes and playing with them, snuggling with them indoors as well. I adore dogs and remain calm, letting them get used to me before trying to engage...letting them set the stage or lead the way. Once I get to know them I am very affectionate with them and love to play and run around with them. I currently live in my own place with my cat and would love to care for your pets in your home.

Tanya clearly was wonderful with Bernie and sent us photos of him playing with her and being his goofy self. Bernie was happy when we got back and the house was immaculate. Tanya was great about letting us posted.
I tried Rover when my usual pet sitter bailed on me. I found Tanya and she was great. We have a senior Golden and three cats and Tanya wasn't phased. Most importantly she came on time, took care of our pack and communicated well throughout. I would use her again.
Tanya did a wonderful job taking care of Bernie and also left our house in mint condition. She communicated well and kept us posted on how things were going. We'd highly recommend her to others!

I would like to have an idea of what the dog's tempermant and general personality is as well as what kind of things the dogs like to do...long/short walks, running, swimming, playing with other dogs, if the dog has any illnesses/special needs, etc. I don't have any experience administering injectable medications to dogs but am willing to learn.
A typical day
I will come to the dog's house and walk him in his neighborhood or take him to his favorite nearby park. I will take any favorite toys he has and incorporate that into his play as well. I won't be able to bring dogs to my place as I live in a small apartment with my cat.

I'm working on setting up my own online business and since it is in it's infancy, this gives me the flexibility to walk dogs and pet sit on a regular basis.
