*~ ABOUT ME ~* Needless to say, I love animals! I don't have any pets of my own, but I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for friends and roommates when they were away. I was an active dog walker here on Rover for a year back when I lived in New York and have been doing housesitting in Austin for about a year now. ----------------------

Tanya stayed with our two cats for almost a week while we were away and put us totally at ease. She quickly won over my very timid kitty, and gave us comprehensive updates and lots of pictures each day. She's also an outstanding house guest and took great care of our home. We would happily book with her again.
Tanya did an excellent job with our two pups. My formerly abused shelter dog has trouble warming up to people, but quickly joined team Tanya! I was a little nervous as we've never had an in-house dogsitter before, but she left the house in beautiful shape, like the most considerate of houseguests. My pups seemed much happier than when they're boarded, so it was a great experience all around. Thanks, Tanya!

She blows my wife and I out of the water with how well she loves and cares for our animals. She provides exceptional customer service and gives detailed daily logs of how each day went with our babies. She’s housed stayed all 4 times and went above and beyond and did way more than asked for. If you have anxiety about leaving your animals while away on vacation, Tanya will ease your worries away!

*~ SERVICES ~* HOUSESITTING Housesitting includes walking/feeding/playing according to your pet's usual schedule. Unless otherwise agreed, this service includes staying the night at your place. I often bring my partner along for housesitting, especially for longer stays. Let me know if this is something you are comfortable with. I will do my best to keep the routine that your pet is used to. My day usually starts around 6-7 am and ends around 10-11 pm. Let me know your pet's favorite games/activities! I love to keep them entertained. I'm very clean and respectful to your space. I personally don't wear shoes in the house. I'm a homeowner who loves taking care of my home, so you can be confident that I will take good care of yours. Feel free to let me know if you have any plants that need watering and what day to take the trash out. I consider myself very detail-oriented and no request is too silly! You can rest assured that I will follow your instructions. Security cameras: I strongly prefer being in a space that has no cameras inside the house (outside is fine). If there must be a camera, kindly disclose where they are to me and I will consider it on a case-by-case basis. **Any undisclosed cameras will be covered and/or unplugged without prior notice.** DROP-IN VISITS Drop-ins include 30 minutes letting your pups out for a potty break/play time in your yard or on leash if you don't have a fenced yard, and then feeding and water change if needed. Drop-ins do not include a full 30-minute walk. Similarly for cats, drop-ins include play time and feeding. ----------------------

A typical day
Playtime - I love providing mental stimulation! Do you have puzzles, nose work activities, or other games you like to play with your dogs? Let me know and I'll happily incorporate it into our day. Walks - As an active person, I love taking dogs out for walks/runs to give them some exercise. On a typical walk, I would take the lead and start out with a walk and potty time, ramp up to a jog/run, then slow down for a stroll to take in all the wonderful scents and hang out before walking back. That said, every dog is different, so I'll adjust accordingly!
