Pet care experience
I managed a pet resort, trained in Animal Behavior and also had a certificate from IBPSA on pets in daycare and boarding. Our lovable Great Dane who was a huge part of our family recently passed away at 9 years old. No doubt she is holding a grudge that she’s missing out, as she was very social and loved dogs. Dog behavior comes natural to me in reading their body language which is extremely important in taking care of pets. I take your pets care and well being seriously and they will have the best environment and loving care while they are with me. I believe the freedom and one on one time in my home is beneficial to the physical and mental health of your pet while you’re away. I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks and a cozy home for snuggles!

Tanya was so great with our two doodles! I knew as soon as I talked with her on the phone that they would be in great hands. We left our two boys with her for a long weekend and she sent us updates and pictures throughout the weekend! I can’t say enough great things about Tanya, you can tell she genuinely loves your animals and treats them like her own! We were lucky to find her and will have the boys back to her in the future! If your dog is boarding with me I would like to know any special preferences your dog has. Can they have treats? Do they have diet restrictions? When do they normally eat and how much? Do they have a special toy or blanket? I’d like to keep their routine as close to normal as possible.
A typical day
We like to keep the routine as close to your pets daily routine as possible. Morning breakfast, potty breaks, treats, dinner, cuddles, naps. If your pet needs anything special I’m happy to do whatever they need to be comfortable.
