hello there! my name is Tanya and I'm an optimistic, friendly animal lover. My initial experience in pet care came from my own dog Nico when I was in middle school. He was a puggle and I got him as a 1 month old puppy. I fed him, walked him, played with him, bathed him, and loved him like a son. I majored in agriculture in HS and spent a lot of time around all kinds of animals. While in HS I was required to complete work hours in order to graduate. I spent 2 summers working as a kennel attendant at a business called "DOGGYBEGOOD". My job consisted of me cleaning the kennels, cleaning after the dogs, feeding, bathing, and playing. I enjoyed my time there. Anna (groomer) and Mike (trainer) were my supervisors. They taught me quite a bit. About 3 years later I also took up a dog walking position for extra income. I worked with a family in Greenwich Village. I walked their Corgi Watson in the evenings, anywhere between 6-8 pm. I worked with them for about a year while I was in trade school. Watson was a sweetheart, sometimes stubborn but I had a soft spot for him. I promise that if you leave your fur babies with me I will treat them with the utmost love, care, and patience as if they were my own. Pets are family. I will take this job very seriously and do my best to make your pets comfy. I look forward to meeting your furry family members <3
