Pet care experience
I've been passionate about dogs since I can remember, I have 4 dogs of my own and they are my world, all my dog guests are welcomed as part of the family, I love to walk in different places every day so that the dogs don't get bored. I have my own transport in case of emergencies and live 5 mins away from the nearest vets, I have a dog phycology diploma and an NVQ level 2 in animal care and also hold a dog CPR/First aid certificate. I strive to make every dog who stays with me happy & content. I have 20 years past experience working with dogs in settings such as kennels, grooming, training and in my own home. I am also currently studying for a professional dog training diploma. ALL bookings are subject to a meet and greet in the form of a walk initially with the option of further meets at my house to ensure that your dog will be 100% comfortable and confident around my dogs. If for any reason I believe your dog to be uncomfortable around my dogs I will not accept the booking and advise you on what I believe would be a better placement for your dog. I do this for the dogs and it is 100% about them and ensuring they are happy and content while you’re away!
Reviews
I picked up Mutley last night from Tanya, and due to traffic issues I was a bit late. Tanya was so kind about it, Mutley was returned to me.He was calm and happy. I am sure he would like to return. Thanks Tanya
Fantastic would recommend and will definitely use again. My basset was very happy xx
Tanya was really helpful and looked after our sprockerpoo overnight whilst we were at a wedding. Would recommend and definitely use again if we are in the area again. Five stars from us

Information Tanya H. would like to know about your pet
I can deal with most behaviours other than aggression towards humans and or other dogs. This is something I will not accept into my home as mine, my children’s and dogs safety comes first. Due to the fact that I have 4 of my own dogs of which are all high energy and having two that are young and playful my home is not suitable for nervous dogs and if I don’t feel your dog is a good fit at our first meeting I won’t accept your booking request and advise that the dog be placed with a sitter that doesn’t own any of their own dogs and you request a single booking to ensure your dogs safety and wellbeing.
A typical day
During the week I get up and get the children ready for school, once they are at school the dogs get their first walk of the day and then back home for breakfast. During the summer when it’s hot out the dogs may not get walked until it has cooled down in the evenings.

Availability
I’m home/with the dogs 90% of the time but I do work 3 days a week as a part time cleaner so dogs may be left for up to 3 hours during the day. Because of this I cannot accommodate dogs who are not comfortable being left home alone.
